About the Role
Anthro Energy is developing advancedelectrolytesto enable safer, higher-performance lithium-ion batteries. We are seeking acollaborative experimental scientisttoexecute and design hands-on experiments in electrolyte formulation and characterization.
Inthis role, you will contribute to innovation on new electrolyte concepts by working closely with research partner sin materials and cell development teamsto translate ideas into proof of concept. Your work will play a critical role in pushing the boundaries of electrolyte and battery performance.
Responsibilities- Perform electrolyte formulation experiments in glove box and dry room environments, with careful attention to detail and safety.
- Measure electrolyte and battery performance by constructing cells in different form factors.
- Measure properties of cells and electrolytes using newcharacterizationmethods, and contribute to method development.
- Formulate andcharacterizepolymer materials.
- Followand develop
SOPstoensure experimental quality, reproducibility, and consistency across teams. - Take direction and feedback from internal customers and research partners to drive stakeholder alignment.
- Generate high-quality, reproducible experimental data with clear documentation to support data-driven decision-makingon research hypotheses and product development.
- Analyze data and clearly document and communicate results to the team.
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields with 1-2 years of experience in industry (or an industrial internship in the battery field)
- Hands-on experimental experience in wetorganicchemical formulation, preferably with experienceinglovebox chemistry,electrolyte development, polymer science, and/or battery or coin cell construction.
- Familiarity with several of the following chemical and materials characterization tools: TGA, rheology, viscometry, compositional analysis, GPC, NMR, and mechanical testing.
- Familiarity with experimental techniques relevant to battery development such as EIS, ACR, thermal testing, and battery cycling is preferred but not required.
