As a Staff Program Manager on the Program Management, Products team, you will be essential to Sila’s success in driving adoption of next-generation battery materials for consumer devices. You will work with a multi-functional set of Sila’s teams in Product Management, Research, Engineering, and Operations, taking ownership of cross-functional business and technical programs that enable the sales pipeline, including coordination with customer account managers, product managers, and the executive team.
You are someone who can clearly translate business objectives into critical milestones and plans, driving decision-making and communicating scope, assumptions, and results across all stakeholders. You will also refine program management tools and processes, with a focus on purpose and value, while cultivating strong, collaborative relationships and promoting an encouraging program team environment.
- Clearly translate business objectives into critical milestones and plans.
- Create and drive plans for Sila’s next-generation products that are aligned with overall business strategy and the company's critical milestones.
- Take ownership of cross-functional business + technical programs that enable sales pipeline, including coordination with customer account managers, product managers, and the executive team.
- Crisply and clearly communicate program status across executives, partners, and teams.
- Drive decision-making and clearly communicate scope, assumptions, and results.
- Understand key interdependencies and cascading risks to proactively communicate plans with cross-functional teams and swiftly integrate mitigations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or physical sciences.
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the battery industry.
- Minimum of 5+ years as a program manager for hardware development.
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate and communicate data and trade-offs clearly to varied audiences.
- Experience bringing together collaborator needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining collaborator support, and closing gaps in differences to drive alignment.
- Excellent leadership, analytical thinking skills, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
- Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc. in a fixed location.
- Stationary for extended periods of time.
