Job Title: Systems Engineer/ R&D Engineer

Location: Alameda, CA 94502

Duration: 12 Months

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Pay Range: $37 - $41 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Systems Engineer/ R&D Engineer” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

• Gather, collaborate on, and translate user needs and system requirements into effective solutions across mobile and cloud-based software systems and workflows.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of mobile and/or cloud technologies and understand their impact on the overall systems environment.
• Support technical discussions related to system-level design, specifications, development, and testing to ensure performance aligns with design requirements.
• Work on projects and problems of small to moderate scope with general supervision.
• Collect, analyze, and validate data, leveraging statistical methods to drive process, architectural, and design improvements.
• Maintain a clear understanding of risk management, Product/Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), Design Controls, and global medical device regulations.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on commitments.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Apply systems thinking to solve complex problems and improve overall product and process performance.

• Experience working in a regulated industry (medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similar).
• Experience with issue and project tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis methods, including Design of Experiments (DOE), A/B testing, and hypothesis testing.
• Recent graduate with a degree in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
