  • Prioritize and execute improvements based on customer impact and business needs
  • Support ISO and quality system requirements through proper documentation and testing practices.
  • Identify opportunities for design, reliability, cost, or process improvements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ESD standards, materials, and applicable regulations.
Testing & Validation
  • Plan, execute, and document functional, system-level, and validation testing for prototypes and released products
  • Develop test procedures and analyze results to support design verification and issue resolution
  • Debug system-level failures using standard lab equipment and correlate behavior across subsystems.
Manufacturing & Production Support
  • Support production ramp and ongoing manufacturing operations by resolving technical issues and improving yield
  • Coordinate engineering release activities and maintain accurate documentation and configuration control
  • Address production and customer-impacting issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Hardware Lifecycle & System Enhancements
  • Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including obsolescence mitigation, redesign, and validation of updated components and PCBs
  • Ensure system integration, signal integrity, power distribution, and manufacturability requirements are met
  • Contribute to system requirements definition, interface design, and performance criteria
Firmware & Software Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware and supporting software for product features and system updates
  • Develop drivers, hardware abstraction layers, and communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART)
  • Support hardware revisions through firmware updates, bring-up, and validation on new platforms
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and system-level tests; optimize performance, memory, and power usage
  • Contribute to code quality, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement of development tools and processes
Position Qualification Requirements

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, or related Engineering discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or sustaining engineering roles
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and engineering release activities.
  • Familiarity with system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Working knowledge of ECO/ECR processes and manufacturing handoff.
  • Exposure to RMA analysis and sustaining engineering
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and common engineering tools (CAD, AutoCAD, Solid Works etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Proficient with standard Bench test equipment, i.e. Oscilloscope, DMM,
