Checkerspot is seeking a Scientist/Engineer to join our Process Development team, bringing hands-on fermentation development and downstream processing experience from bench to pilot scale. You will design, execute, and interpret fermentation experiments, prepare media, operate bioreactors, and troubleshoot issues with a focus on robust process performance.
You will lead downstream operations, contribute to oil recovery and refining processes, and help scale to manufacturing partners or CDMOs.
