Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $225,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project and job costing activities by tracking labor materials and overhead to support accurate reporting and profitability analysis.
  • Manage budget to actual performance by analyzing variances and providing insights to support decision making.
  • Lead daily accounting operations including payables receivables payroll and financial close across multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.
  • Prepare financial reports forecasts and performance metrics that support leadership and operational teams.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in project based or construction accounting environments.
  • Possess deep knowledge of cost accounting financial reporting and compliance practices.
  • Use enterprise systems effectively and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead with a hands on approach while managing responsibilities in a growing or evolving organization.
Qualifications:
  • Support cash flow management forecasting and working capital planning with strong analytical skills.
  • Partner with operations and project teams to improve cost visibility and financial performance.
  • Drive system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exhibit leadership collaboration and problem solving skills in a dynamic environment.
