Job Description And Duties

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I performs analytical, technical, and administrative duties related to the review, evaluation and preparation of program recommendations for Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) apprenticeship and pre- apprenticeship programs Statewide to ensure compliance of Labor Code requirements. The Analyst I assists in determining program compliance with statutory requirements, prepares evaluation reports and recommendations, provides technical assistance to program sponsors, and maintains program records to support DAS’ oversight of approved apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs.

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Air-conditioned, high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Monday - Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., four days working in the office (Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-22-25).

Question:
This position requires reviewing pre-apprenticeship programs for compliance with Labor Code, Regulations, and program standards. Describe your experience reviewing or evaluating documents, Identifying deficiencies, and making recommendations.

Directions:
