Role Description

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for an on-site, part-time role locations on Alameda County, CA (Alameda, Berkely, Castro Valley, Dublin, Fremont, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Livermore) in home locationa, school locations as well as community settings. In this position, you will assist individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans and applied behavior analysis strategies. Key responsibilities include providing direct care and support, assisting in building daily living skills, and maintaining detailed documentation of progress.

Collaboration with other professionals and effective communication with clients and their families are essential aspects of this role. $20-$28 an hour. Morning, afternoon, and evening roles needed.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (must complete 40 hour paid RBT training during onbaoring and complete within 2 week timeframe)
  • Strong skills in Communication and Behavioral Intervention
  • Education or background in Psychology or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, on-site environment
  • Patience, compassion, and a commitment to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to individual needs and program goals
