Requirements
Current BLS certification required
SLP-CF (Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow) accepted
Active State Speech-Language Pathology license required
Master?s degree in Speech Pathology from an institution accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Education and Training Board
Demonstrated clinical assessment skills within area of expertise
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Job Accountabilities
Rehabilitation Services:
Develops and implements treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Completes patient evaluations and testing in accordance with Speech Pathology Standards of Practice.
Develops and updates individualized Plans of Care (POC).
Provides and progresses treatment per established standards.
Completes documentation and charge capture accurately and timely.
Coordinates patient care effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides.
Functions as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
Clerical Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate patient documentation in medical and departmental records.
May perform general clerical duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updating Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Safety & Compliance:
Participates in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including proper equipment disinfection.
Inspects and operates equipment per manufacturer
