Learning and Development Intern

Job Summary

Kairos Power is seeking a curious and motivated Learning & Development Intern to support the design and delivery of impactful learning experiences in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. This role is ideal for a student interested in organizational development, leadership development, adult learning, or HR strategy.

You will work closely with the Learning & Development and People Operations teams on real projects that directly support leaders and employees across the company. This is a hands-on internship where you will help build, test, and improve learning programs alongside experienced practitioners.

Responsibilities

* Support the design and rollout of leadership and manager development programs, including programs for first-time managers.

* Assist with creating learning content such as facilitator guides, toolkits, job aids, and microlearning resources.

* Help organize, update, and maintain learning pathways and content within the Learning Management System (LMS).

* Collect and analyze learner feedback and engagement data to support continuous improvement of learning programs.

* Contribute to performance management enablement tools, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning resources.

* Support onboarding and culture-based learning tied to the Kairos Way and leadership competencies.

* Research learning trends and best practices and help translate insights into practical, usable tools.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education, Business, or a related field.

* Comfort working with ambiguity and learning in a dynamic environment.

* Alignment with a mission-driven, high-accountability culture.

* Demonstrated interest in how people learn and change behavior at work.

* Experience with learning platforms, content creation tools, or facilitation preferred.

* Strong analytical, research, or data interpretation skills preferred.

* Overtime may be required occasionally.

The hourly range for this position is $26 for employees working onsite at our Alameda, CA headquarters. The range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired in California.
