We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Manager to oversee our Quality Assurance processes and team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design, and execution of testing strategies across projects to ensure high-quality product delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to build a strong quality culture and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA Engineers (manual and/or automation).
- Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and processes that align with company goals.
- Create and manage detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
- Work closely with development teams to understand features and technical implementation.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics such as defect densities, open defect counts, and test execution progress.
- Ensure that test environments are properly set up and maintained.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution process so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA practices by identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in QA, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail, Zephyr) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced environment.
