OverviewLead and manage global strategic partnerships for Abbott’s Lingo biosensing technology, building senior‑level relationships, identifying and executing enterprise‑level transactions, and coordinating across cross‑divisional teams to deliver joint value.
Responsibilities- Initiate and maintain relationships with potential partners in future transactions.
- Attend trade shows to gather market intelligence and meet with potential partner companies.
- Evaluate digital‑health companies’ fit with Lingo’s data‑sharing strategy.
- Support alliance‑management functions for existing partners, including cross‑functional alignment, serving as interface between external and internal stakeholders, and maintaining quarterly calls with each global partner.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify transaction opportunities and evaluate potential partners.
- Support cross‑functional diligence teams to assess transaction risks and opportunities.
- Develop term sheets for potential partnerships under the guidance of the director.
- Perform secondary‑source research to analyze digital‑health opportunities and landscape areas of interest.
- Solicit feedback on business‑development strategies from internal or external groups.
- Leverage connections in the digital‑health start‑up community to identify potential partners.
- Prepare succinct and comprehensive presentations for senior management, including overviews, analyses, and financials of specific transactions under consideration.
- Contribute to periodic reporting to executive management regarding business‑development activity.
- Support deal structure and development, and negotiate deals to protect value for the division.
- Work with finance and cross‑functional teams to develop financial models with reasonable assumptions.
- Manage multiple projects and evaluations under tight timelines.
- Execute new partner engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related science.
- 8+ years of total business experience, including a minimum of 4 years in sales or partnership roles with senior executives.
- Prior experience sourcing and executing new transactions or partnerships.
- Proven ability to build long‑term strategic and senior‑level relationships and design strategic plans and short‑term tactics for large complex organizations.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams to achieve clearly defined objectives that benefit the company and customers.
- Strong communication skills, public speaking, and adaptability in rapidly changing environments.
- Executive‑level business and financial acumen with deep product knowledge.
- Expertise in “getting things done” within a corporate environment.
- Strong negotiation, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Robust internal and external networking skills that foster long‑term relationships.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑ambiguity environment that values self‑direction and creative problem solving.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills.
- Prior experience in fitness, wellness, wearable, or medical device industry.
