Tobacco Project Internship
The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is the nation's leading cancer advocacy organization. Together with our charitable partner, the American Cancer Society, we work in Congress, state legislatures and local jurisdictions to support evidence-based policy and legislative solutions designed to eliminate cancer as a major health problem.
The Tobacco Project initiative, launched by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), aims to decrease disparities related to tobacco use among the Hispanic/Latino community residents in Vacaville in Solano County. The program offers students the chance to acquire valuable skills and contribute to ACS CAN's mission. The interns will have a hybrid work schedule, with some in-person work and participation in weekend events and activities.
