Personal Care Attendant

Part-time Personal Care Attendant (PCA)

Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a part-time Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for the AM shift! Pay rate is $120 per hour. The shift is either 6:00am-11:00am. The primary functions of a PCA are:

• Help residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks
• Respond to resident needs promptly while maintaining resident privacy and personal dignity
• Monitor resident activity and functional status
• Assist with apartment tidying to ensure safety and comfort

We are looking for a part-time employee (on-call/PRN may also be available). Minimum qualifications are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals
• Ability to follow written and oral directions
• Basic computer skills (care programming is computer based)
• Ability to lift 150 pounds

Employment requirements include:

• Current COVID-19 vaccination

• TB test
• Fingerprint clearance from the FBI and Dept of Justice
