Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Manage case and hospice care for patients with advancing age, frailty, and serious illness.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of two years hospital, home health, or hospice care experience.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.
Certifications:
- Experience in multiple nursing specialties such as ICU, ER, or Operating Room.
- Advanced certifications relevant to nursing specialties.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills essential for interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Part-time position with a 13-week duration, 30 hours guaranteed.
- Work schedule options include Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday shifts.
