Job PurposeAs a member of the Biotherapeutics group, the incumbent will play a key role in supporting the group’s discovery and preclinical development efforts by possessing skills and experience in recombinant antibody production and purification/characterization. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering high quality antibody leads for further development as potential therapeutic candidates or as ADCs.
Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments to generate bispecific and multi‑valent antibodies including cloning, protein expression, and evaluating platform feasibility.
- Produce high‑quality antibodies, bispecifics, and recombinant proteins to support discovery and prioritization.
- Support protein structure/function evaluation for develop ability and large‑scale manufacturing.
- Comply with company health and safety policies and general laboratory practices.

Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, biology or microbiology) and at least seven (7) years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline and at least five (5) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ph.D. in a related discipline with no required industry experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with antibody discovery and engineering platforms, including developing immunogens, screening reagents, and sorting cells/flow cytometry for target expression.
- Proficient in mammalian cell culture, protein expression, and purification using chromatography techniques.
- Familiarity with state‑of‑the‑art technologies and process automation for protein/antibody production.
- Experience documenting experiments in ELNs and other record‑keeping processes.
- Ability to design and execute studies aiming at recombinant protein/antibody production, interpret experimental results, and formulate conclusions.
- Prior experience with electronic laboratory notebooks and cell line development activities is a plus.
- Primarily laboratory or office work.
- Potential exposure to hazardous chemicals or materials.
The base pay range for this position is $127,500 – $180,500 annually, adjusted for geographic region. Total Rewards include a 401(k) plan with company match, group medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, discretionary annual bonus, stock purchase program, long‑term incentives, 15 accrued vacation days in the first year, 17 paid holidays, including a winter shutdown, and up to 10 sick days.
