Account Manager – HVAC
Experience: Senior Level
Salary: $140,000 - $240,000 per year
Location: Alameda, CA, US
We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our HVAC team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a proven record in account management, business development, and territory management. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and construction. Responsibilities- Developing and maintaining a portfolio of accounts in the HVAC sector within the construction industry.
- Conducting business development initiatives to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Managing the sales territory effectively to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
- Establishing, negotiating, and executing service contracts and agreements with clients.
- Coordinating with the technical team to ensure smooth delivery of HVAC and plumbing services.
- Addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge.
- Collaborating with the sales team to achieve sales targets and boost company revenue.
- Conducting regular account reviews to track clients' satisfaction and usage.
- Creating and presenting reports on account status to senior management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP contracting with a strong background in HVAC systems.
- Proven track record in business development and territory management.
- Extensive experience in outside sales.
- Understanding of service contracts and service agreements.
- Solid technical background with hands‑on experience in HVAC, plumbing, and construction.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Superior problem‑solving abilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
