You'll contribute directly to pioneering research with the potential to restore agency to neurodegeneration patients and create revolutionary neural interfaces. This is a perfect opportunity to apply your expertise in rodent surgical and behavioral procedures in a fast-paced research environment.

  • Administer precise drug dosing regimens via multiple routes (oral gavage, IP, IV, topical) with meticulous record-keeping
  • Support histology workflows including cardiac perfusions, tissue harvesting, and sample preparation
  • Maintain detailed experimental logs, dosing records, and behavioral data
  • Ensure strict compliance with all IACUC protocols, animal welfare standards, and regulatory requirements
  • A highly skilled animal researcher with 3+ years of intensive hands-on rodent work experience
  • Advanced experience with stereotactic surgery and intracranial injection methodologies
  • Extensive background in rodent behavioral testing and assessment protocols
  • Exceptional attention to detail with flawless documentation and record-keeping practices
  • Strong understanding of IACUC regulations, animal welfare principles, and ethical research conduct
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining the highest procedural standards
  • Familiarity with perfusions and immunohistochemistry best practices

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced behavioral testing equipment and automated data collection systems
  • Background in inducing and characterizing neurodegenerative disease models
  • Experience with intracranial cell injections
  • Experience with survival surgery techniques and post-operative care protocols
  • Knowledge of rodent anesthesia protocols and physiological monitoring
  • Strong quantitative skills for behavioral data analysis and interpretation
  • Previous work in academic or biotech research environments with rigorous quality standards
