Paving Crew Member​/Roller Operator; Woodstock

AHC Paving is a family-owned and operated contractor in the Woodstock/Norwich area.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and sharp attention to detail to join us for the 2026 season (April–Nov) and beyond.

• Starting Pay:
  From $28.00/hr (Based on experience).

• Operations:
  Operate vibratory steel drum and pneumatic rollers to compact asphalt correctly.
• Groundwork:
  Assist with performance of essential paving tasks including shoveling, raking, tamping, and site prep.
• Maintenance:
  Perform daily inspections, greasing, and fueling of equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Safety:
  Assist the Foreman in maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient job site.

• Reliability:
  You show up on time and ready to work in all weather conditions.
• Proactive Initiative:
  You understand your role and take the lead on your tasks. We are looking for a teammate who sees what needs to be done next and does it without needing constant supervision.
• Tech-Savvy:
  Proficient in use of technology, willing to learn and adapt.
• Driver’s License:
  Valid G License with a clean abstract (Required).
• Assets:
  Experience operating heavy equipment, floating heavy equipment, or holding a Commercial License (DZ, AR, AZ) is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

  Full-time, Seasonal (Year-round opportunities available for the right candidate).
• Pay: $28.00–$35.00+ per hour (Depending on skill level).

  Monday-Friday 10 hrs per day.
