Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time retail sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The associate greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, while maintaining a clean, well‑stocked sales floor and ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise properly.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items safely and securely.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Strong desire to serve customers, be team‑oriented, and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math calculation proficiency; cash handling experience preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

• Hourly wage of $10.75 to $13.00, plus commissions up to 8% on transactions.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
