- Assist the principal in providing leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills that foster an environment conducive to student learning and staff professional growth.
- Master’s Degree with hours in Education Administration.
- Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience.
- Assistant Principal or Instructional Coach experience preferred.
- Knowledge of elementary school curriculum and instruction.
- Evidence of leadership ability necessary for improvement of instruction.
- Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness.
- Ability to manage budget and personnel.
- Ability to implement policy and procedures.
- Ability to interpret data.
- Knowledge of special programs including Special Education and Title I.
- Demonstrated communication and public relations skills.
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.
Eleven months (212 days) per contract year. Salary to be determined from the Administrator Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on Board‑approved revisions.
Conditions of EmploymentMust comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and functional capacity evaluation. Offer of employment contingent upon satisfactory background, criminal, and reference investigations.
