General FunctionSupervise students during their lunch period to ensure the safety and welfare of students during non‑classroom activities.
Education / Training / Experience- Minimum: Must be at least 18 years old. Able to pass a background check.
- Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English.

Maintain order in groups of children. Handle any problems that arise. Communicate observations and incidents that may impact a student's development or the general well‑being of other school personnel.

Resources Used in Performing Job Include (but are not limited to)A limited variety of standard office equipment, including hand‑held radios, computers, copiers, and phone systems.
Physical / Cognitive RequirementsThe work is primarily performed in a school setting. It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing. The job requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation, at times bending, squatting, and reaching. It also requires the ability to lift, carry, push up to 40 pounds, and to assist injured students. Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
EnvironmentalConditions
Duties performed in typical school settings that may include offices, cafeteria, classrooms, gym, and auditorium. Candidates will be subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, noise, and hazards. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
