Exempt Position
- Assistant Principal, Vacancy #: 10-028
Assists the Principal with administrative duties associated with the high school.
- Master's Degree with hours in Education Administration
- Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience
- Knowledge of High School curriculum and instruction
- Evidence of leadership ability necessary for improvement of instruction
- Knowledge of special programs, including Special Education
- High degree of communication and public relations skills
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements
Twelve months (234 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the Administrator Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent. Reference: Alamogordo Public Schools Salary and Work Day Calendar.
Conditions of EmploymentAbility to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty.
