Job Description Collective Staff Training Lead (MEL4)III Armored Corps Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training for Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training for Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training for Divisions and Corps in training environments in Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).

Our work depends on a Collective Staff Training Lead joining our team to support unit commander’s training objectives by developing training methods and materials, such as curriculum, lectures, and computer-based training aids, based on consultation with client/user specifications.
Participate in special projects as required.
- Leads a diverse team of Collective Trainers in order to manage the development, organization, and delivery of training and educational programs for customer personnel.
- Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training.
- Has a high level of diverse technical and industry experience related to a specific skill set.
- Typically has specialization in a particular technology or WfF. Keeps abreast of doctrinal, operational and tactical training methodology as well as technological developments and trends.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at echelons ranging from Battalion to Division.
- Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.
- Serves in a mentorship or observer/trainer role when requested.
Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs). - Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
- Education: BS or BA degree, subject immaterial and have completed Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC).
- Required Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of related experience in military supervisory and C2 experience.
