The Mission Capability and Verification Center (MCVC) located on White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is searching for a qualified Multi Disciplined Support Technician to join the Team. The candidate will be involved in all types of support of trades, mission activity, and testing support. General knowledge of machine shop and fabrication processes and procedures are desired. Primary tasks will include equipment movement, site establishment and site sustainment locally on WSMR and multiple testing locations throughout the United States.

Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined teams while supporting multiple projects to achieve timely execution and completion of established goals, as well as support general facility maintenance. The candidate will work in an engineering environment to support and facilitate testing of engineering hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements and industry standards. This position is onsite and requires 50% travel.

• Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
• Travel 50% to support assigned systems, including travel within WSMR and to other locations.
• Provide support in field testing environments throughout the year.
• General facility and fleet maintenance and support.
• Support MCVC as needed outside of primary duties.

• Typical education: AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve common goals.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Certifications/qualifications/licenses in supporting trades (e.g., Electrical, HVAC, Automotive).
• Experience in trades/construction/maintenance (framing, carpentry, surveying).
• Experience with machining, welding, and fabrication; understanding of engineering principles and design techniques.
• Ability to independently prioritize work in alignment with schedule and budget.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for collaboration with engineering teams and external customers.

• Onsite:
  Employees primarily onsite; hybrid and remote options may be discussed per role.
• Salary range: 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate and depends on experience, location, and qualifications.
