Tech Trans International (TTI) is seeking entry-to-early-career Full-Time Contingent Procurement Specialists to support the Advanced Test and Logistics Support Services contract in support of the 704th Test Group at Holloman Air Force Base. This is a contingent position, pending contract award. Multiple positions available. The Procurement Specialist I is responsible for processing routine procurement actions, maintaining accurate OWMS records, coordinating with vendors and requestors, and supporting the procurement team's overall throughput.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to build government contracting experience in a dynamic DoD test support environment with a clear growth path within the team.
Clearance:
Secret clearance eligibility preferred. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Process routine procurement requests for consumables, hardware, tools, PPE, metals, fabrication materials, and standard commercial items in accordance with FAR/DFARS requirements
- Enter and update PR forms accurately in the OWMS, ensuring all required fields are complete before advancing in the workflow
- Coordinate with requestors to clarify specifications, part numbers, quantities, and delivery requirements
- Contact vendors to obtain quotes, lead times, and availability information
- Prepare cost estimates and submit for Procurement Lead review within required timelines
- Assist with ad-hoc and emergent procurement requests, supporting the team s 48-72 hour response target
- Maintain accurate and complete procurement records in the OWMS audit trail for all assigned actions
- File and organize procurement documentation in accordance with TTI record-keeping standards
- Flag any procurement actions that may involve ITAR/EAR-controlled items to the Procurement Lead or Export Control Specialist before proceeding
- Support audit requests by retrieving procurement documentation promptly
- Communicate proactively with the Procurement Lead and Procurement Specialist II on action status, delays, and issues
- Support surge requirements by taking on additional procurement actions during peak test periods
- Participate actively in team meetings and process improvement discussions
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain in a government or commercial environment
- Basic familiarity with FAR/DFARS purchasing requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field; equivalent work experience considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn web-based workflow systems quickly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple open actions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced test support environment
- Clear written and verbal communication with vendors and internal team members
- Willingness to ask questions and escalate issues rather than guess
- Eagerness to learn government procurement processes and grow within the role
- Any exposure to DoD or federal agency procurement environments
- Familiarity with OWMS, SAP, or similar procurement/workflow platforms
- Basic awareness of ITAR/EAR export control concepts
- DAU Contracting Level I coursework or equivalent
On-site at Holloman Air Force Base, Alamogordo, New Mexico. This position requires full-time on-site presence.
