American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring an active NM or compact RN license and BLS certification.
Details- Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a hospital
- 4-day work week, 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Full time position
- Active RN license (NM state or compact) required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- 1 year of related nursing specialty experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administers medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius unless the position is designated for local candidates
- Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
