Position Summary

State of Colorado, Administrative Assistant II – Extended Studies. This role will support the Extended Studies program by serving as a primary contact for instructors and providing essential administrative support.

Location

Alamosa, CO (208 Edgemont Blvd, Alamosa, CO 81101)

Job Type & Salary

Full Time. Monthly salary: $3,354.00 - $4,697.00.

Responsibilities
  • Provide appropriate customer service to all constituents.
  • Serve as first point of contact for professional development instructors.
  • Correspond with internal and external partners, positively representing ASU.
  • Communicate effectively with students.
  • Perform initial reviews of PD syllabi to ensure they meet ASU requirements.
  • Format all course syllabi for consistency.
  • Prepare PD course and instructor documents for review and approval.
  • Create and maintain filing systems.
  • Oversee procedures for PD conferences.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Minimum Qualifications

Experience Only:
Two (2) years of relevant experience in a related occupation.

Or:
Education and experience combination equal to two (2) years.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines.
