Registered Nurse

Salary Range: $32.51 To $45.39 Hourly

A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available for this position.

San Luis Valley Health is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Registered Nurses to join the Surgery team. The RN is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the provision of safe quality patient care by daily monitoring of the activities of assigned staff and by taking corrective action as necessary. The RN is accountable for outcomes related to patient satisfaction, clinical performance and cost.

The RN provides leadership in assuring compliance with all State and Federal regulations, and the mission and philosophy of San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center. The RN interfaces with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, to identify and resolve operational issues and/or needs.

The successful candidate would possess the following qualification:

• Bachelor's of Science preferred, Associates Degree in Nursing required
• Current RN license with the State of Colorado Board of Nursing
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications required through the American Heart Association
• One year nursing experience preferred
