Description:
This position involves providing care to oncology patients.
The registered nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and managing ports.
Experience with charting systems is preferred.
Skills in patient/family education and support are essential.
The nurse will monitor patients for side effects of chemotherapy.
Knowledge of managing acute tumor lysis syndrome is required.
The role involves care coordination and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates should be skilled in IV push administration of chemotherapy and other medications.
Experience with blood product administration is also necessary.
