Looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team and help us manage our financial operations as we continue to grow.

The Accounting Manager/Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and a strong understanding of the unique accounting needs of a business.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Process payroll.
• Coordinate with project managers to track job costs and profitability.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
