Job Description

Plymouth Meeting Pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant. You MUST have pharmaceutical experience and have previously supported executives! This position will provide general administrative and project-specific support to the department members including scheduling meeting, conference calls, travel arrangements, preparing presentations, word processing SOP's, policies, protocols and reports; creating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets; assist with entering Product Complaint information entering and tracking Purchase Orders and processing legal documentation within company software systems.

This position is hybrid.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support (typing, word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets).
  • Support department employees and activities with copying, tracking, distributing, and filing documents, and assembling and mailing documents.
  • Assist with set-up and maintenance of the department files.
  • Schedule on and off-site departmental meetings including arranging for meeting venue, room reservations, travel arrangements, meeting equipment and supplies, and provide on-site meeting assistance when necessary.
  • Coordinate shipment of supplies and documents.
  • Perform other project related activities as assigned.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor and others in department.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to process multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to take instructions from various sources and prioritize tasks.
  • Maintain familiarity with relevant FDA/ICH guidelines and regulations as needed.
  • Must possess excellent technical administrative and communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively and with courtesy to internal and external staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Proficiency in E-mail, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook;
    Proficiency in MS Project is a plus.

Pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
