Job Description

This four-week internship provides an opportunity for high school students to gain real-world work experience in NANA's office.

Start date:

June 16, 2025. Interviews will take place as applications are received. The internship will last 4 weeks and interns must be able to commit to the entire internship. Two High School Interns are to be hired for each village.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Shareholder Relations Coordinator and work on special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success may also be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a NANA shareholder.
  • Minimum age 14.
  • Must be entering the 9th-12th grade in the fall of 2025 or a 2025 high school graduate to qualify.
  • Must provide a complete application and resume when submitting the application.
  • Must provide one letter of recommendation when submitting the application.
  • Must be able to commit to the entire work assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Willingness to learn.
Working Conditions and

Physical Requirements

Weather: Indoors – environmentally controlled; most or all work is to be done inside.

Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere.

Description of environment: Office building with a standard office environment.

Physical requirements: Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.

Travel: No travel required.
