Summary of Role

The Director, Product‑Fund Administration will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our business among clients and prospects in the private funds space. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the fund administration space and will provide in‑depth and technical expertise to develop new business, working closely with sales to identify revenue opportunities. This commercially‑minded professional will be a confident spokesperson, representing the firm to both press and clients, and will actively contribute to our marketing and product development efforts.

What

you’ll do
  • Develop and execute product positioning strategies that highlight our fund administration services’ unique value proposition to private equity and hedge fund clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product development teams, to ensure alignment of the product messaging and strategy.
  • Partner with and influence sales and RM teams to establish and drive business development strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide product expertise during client pitches and RFP processes.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to clients, prospects, and other stakeholders, showcasing our fund administration solutions and expertise.
  • Help with prospect conversion and provide input into product development, marketing, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitor positioning, providing insights that drive product enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Identify commercial opportunities to enhance product offerings and improve market positioning.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the fund administration business, engaging with press, industry conferences, and webinars to promote the firm’s expertise and capabilities.
  • Lead the creation of high‑quality content, including thought leadership pieces, blogs, white papers, webinars, and other thought leadership tailored for the fund administration market.
Required

Education and Experience
  • BA / BS in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in fund administration for private equity or hedge funds, with a deep understanding of fund structures, operations, and market dynamics.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable speaking to large audiences and with the press.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing thought leadership and engaging with media outlets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Education and Experience
  • Experience with Hub Spot.
Competencies
  • Success in providing consultation on the aspects of fund services and middle/back office outsourcing solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of fund administration and the alternatives market landscape.
  • Executive presence and consultative sales acumen; ability to develop advisory relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Proven track record of results‑oriented performance, as well as building and influencing strategic relationships; capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills, exceptional writing and content creation skills tailored to the fund administration and investment management sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and other presentation tools.
