This is an entry-level position with an exciting career path.
No dental experience is required. We’ll provide the training, mentoring, and support you need to succeed.

As part of our team, you’ll receive hands‑on training in:

• Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit.
• Help create an exceptional patient experience.

• Assist Dr. Shaw during dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments.
• Learn modern dental techniques and technology.
• Become certified to take digital X-rays and CBCT scans.

• Operate digital intraoral scanners.
• Learn CAD software to design crowns, bridges, night guards, surgical guides and retainers.
• Operate advanced 3D printing technology.
• Help create same‑day dental restorations.

• Friendly and enjoys helping people.
• Desire to work directly on patients assisting Dr. Shaw with restorative procedures.
• Eager to learn and grow.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented/process-oriented.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• A critical thinker and problem solver.
• Positive, motivated, and a team player.
• Interested in building a long‑term career.

Applicants with backgrounds in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, retail, education or other professional fields are encouraged to apply.

• Part-time to start (2–3 days per week)
• Opportunity to grow into 3–4 days per week

• Monday through Thursday

20+year very successful practice, latest technology including CBCT, Sprint Ray, Laser, Intra‑Oral Cameras, Scanners, Invisalign etc...with more technology to come. Always learning and growing. Free parking, great hours (no evening, no weekends including no Fridays as dentist teaches at Pitt Dental School on Fridays). Flexible hours.
