The Alaska Family Medicine Residency (AKFMR) offers a rigorous curriculum to prepare residents for full-scope Family Medicine, with an emphasis on rural and underserved communities. Most training occurs in Anchorage, Alaska caring for a diverse, underserved urban population. The patients in clinic speak>90 languages.
