Locum OB/GYN Physician Alaska Overview
A healthcare facility in Alaska is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to provide inpatient call-only coverage. This opportunity is ideal for providers who are comfortable managing obstetric and gynecologic emergencies while delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital setting.
Assignment Details- Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Location: Alaska
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Contract: Ongoing call coverage
- Coverage: 24-hour beeper call
- Inpatient hospital
- Call-only assignment
- EMR:
Cerner and Athena
- Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
- Evaluate and manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
- Perform inpatient rounding as needed
- Admit and manage patients requiring hospital care
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Alaska medical license
- Comfortable providing inpatient call coverage
- Ability to obtain emergency credentialing
