Make Medicine Meaningful Above The Arctic Circle. A Northern Alaskan Clinic Is Urgently Seeking One Or Two ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine Physicians For 12-hour Night Shifts This Holiday Season

Flights and housing fully covered - Requirements:
Must be comfortable practicing solo in a resource-limited setting. Stabilize and ship trauma.
- 17-bed hospital with high-volume ED
- Solo coverage with support from CHAs and telehealth
- Cerner EHR with statewide connectivity
- No surgery; OB unit is midwife-led with risk-out protocols
- Referral center:
Alaska Native Medical Center (via air transport)
- ABEM-certified
- Experienced in solo ED coverage
- Mission-driven, culturally humble, and adaptable
- Alaska license preferred (can be supported)
- Serve a community where 80% of residents are Inupiat
- Immerse yourself in indigenous traditions and Arctic landscapes
- Be part of a care model that blends modern medicine with tribal values
