We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for a locum opportunity in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a great opportunity for providers looking for a flexible schedule while making an impact in a community-focused healthcare setting.
Position Details:
- Specialty: Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
- Start Date: ASAP / September 14, 2026
- Duration: Ongoing coverage available
- Schedule: Approximately 1 week per month (0.25 FTE)
- EMR: Epic
Schedule & Coverage:
- Clinic hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM - Weekday and weekend call coverage required
- 24-hour call coverage for Labor & Delivery and Emergency Department support
- Approximately 7 days of first or second call coverage
Opportunity Highlights:
- Critical access setting with a supportive care team
- Inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services
- Full-scope general OB/GYN practice
- Clinic volume approximately 10 patients/day
- Labor & Delivery volume approximately 0–2 patients/day
- Another OB/GYN available for 24/7 call support
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Active Alaska license required
- BLS certification required
- Epic experience preferred
