Hourly $14.00 to $16.00

• No nights. No weekends. No late evenings.
• Flexible scheduling — we work with college students’ schedules.
• Open to interns, seasonal staff, and part-time or full-time team members. Yes, that includes summers/school breaks only.
• Possibility of additional hours if desired.

Open to part-time, flexible, and fulltime schedules, which can shift depending on your semester's class schedule and summer vacations.

Capitol and Children’s Center is growing, and we’re looking for warm, reliable, and energetic staff members to help guide, educate, and have fun with children in our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who love working with children and want a supportive, Christian, child-centered environment — without nights or weekends.

• Support infant, toddler, preschool, and Kids’ Club classrooms as needed
• Assist with activities, playtime, routines, transitions, and general classroom support
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and teammates
• Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where kids come first

• Christian & child-centered approach
• Low ratios and small group sizes
• Calm, cozy environment with great families
• Outdoor playgrounds, indoor activity areas, and over 11 acres to explore
• Art & sensory room available for staff use
• Autonomy within curriculum themes

• Paid training (including CPR/First Aid after hire)

Experience is helpful but not required — we provide full training.

• Hourly pay based on experience, education, and position
• 90-day review
• Benefits available for full-time staff (36+ hours/week)
• Leadership positions available as our team continues to grow

• Interviews are held on campus at our Southwest Madison location (across from Chavez Elementary)
• Some training is held there for staff interested in our Sun Prairie location
