Soliant is looking for an experienced Math Interventionist to teach high school students in a full-time position for the uping school year!

* Qualified candidates will hold an active Educators License in the State of Pennsylvania
* Responsibilities:

• Teach approved Mathematics curriculum to students as outlined by the department guidelines.
• Work in small groups or one-on-one with high school students, providing instruction on remedial mathematics and algebra skills.
• Provide an appropriate learning environment that meets the needs of diverse students.
• Track the progress and grades of students and provide feedback.
• Create a functional and safe classroom environment that allows students to receive quality instruction by the effective use of lesson plan development strategies.
• Attend school and district meetings as required.
• Support the Special Education program by implementing IEPs and 504 plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administration, which may include, but are not limited to monitoring hallways, monitoring assemblies, and conducting parent-teacher conferences.

Licenses & Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in mathematics or a mathematics-related field
• State of Pennsylvania Educators License (or the eligibility to get one before starting)

Preferred:

• Previous successful classroom experience as a Math Interventionist or Math Teacher

Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

pensation Structure: ($33/hr - $36/hr depending on experience, and 401k plan)
