As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Join us in our mission to inspire a love for learning, foster curiosity, and empower students to reach their full potential.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans:
Create and implement effective lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. - Classroom management:
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. - Assessment and feedback:
Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and use assessment data to inform instructional decisions. - Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the academic success and well-being of students. - Professional development:
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends, teaching strategies, and best practices. - Individualized support:
Provide additional support to students who may require special attention, working closely with special education and support staff.
- Weekly compensation
- Monday-Friday, day hours (weekend opportunities available)
- School schedule: all major holidays and summers off
- 24/7 accessibility to ACS Staff
- Choose a setting that suits you (school, home, community)
- Pennsylvania Certification (if required)
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Background Checks, up-to-date FBI and State clearances (or willing to obtain).
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
