Qualifications and

Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Prior experience working in high school special education settings preferred
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and effective co-teaching strategies
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide resource and push-in special education instructional support for high school students
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and incorporate accommodations
• Develop, update, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with regulations
• Participate in student evaluation and assessment processes
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that motivates students and promotes growth
• Engage in regular communication and collaboration with families, related service providers, and school staff
