An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Special Education Teacher to make a lasting impact for the  school year. This full-time, contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic educational environment supporting students across multiple sites. As an itinerant educator, you'll provide direct special education services at both a high school and an elementary school, collaborating closely with faculty and staff at each location.

Travel professionals are welcome, though relocation or a long-term commitment is strongly preferred to ensure continuity of care and support for students.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification in Special Education (required)
• Previous experience teaching in special education settings, preferably at both elementary and secondary levels
• Familiarity with IEP processes and state/federal special education regulations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to diverse learners
• Willingness to work across different school communities and travel between sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized special education instruction to students at partner schools
• Conduct assessments and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to unique learning needs
• Maintain accurate and timely student documentation, including IEPs and progress reports
• Collaborate with general educators, related service providers, and families to support student growth
