About the role- This role is focused on creating a fun, safe, and energetic environment for young athletes to develop their basketball skills, teamwork, and confidence. Camp counselors will lead drills and activities, mentor campers, and help ensure every participant has a positive and rewarding camp experience.

- Positive attitude and ability to motivate campers
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Preferred:
Previous coaching, playing, and/or camp experience preferred but not required
This role will take place in the RC Gym and/or the SRC.
Moderate to high noise levels.
No AC in the SRC.
Overnight camp staff will lived in shared dorm housing.
Physical DemandsAbility to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, running and demonstrating basketball drills.
Ability to lift and carry basketball equipment up to 30 pounds
Comfortable working indoors in summer weather conditions (No AC in the SRC)
Ability to supervise and engage with campers in a fast‑paced environment
Expected Hours of WorkWork scheudle is generally dependent upon your availablilty. Please work out a final schedule with Coach Miller or Cornell.
Below are the camp dates:
- Grades 2-6 // June 8-11, 2026 // Mini Day Camp Option 1
- Grades 2-6 // June 15-18, 2026 // Mini Day Camp Option 2
- Grades 4-10 // July 6-8, 2026 // Individual Skills Overnight Camp
- Grades 3-10 // July 13-16, 2026 // Individual Skills Day Camp Stipend
Pay based on hours. Some camps require overnight, early morning, or late evening hours.
