This position is for School Year .
This position is split between North Pole, Anderson Crawford, and Salcha Elementary Schools and requires travel between these school sites. It is a district-wide position, and assigned locations may be subject to change based on district needs.

Instructs students in the appropriate district curriculum, creates a positive and effective learning environment for all students, and provides strong academic, social, physical, and emotional growth for all students.
This position provides instrumental music to 5th-grade students, instructing in either Band or Orchestra as determined by the successful candidate's area of expertise.

Retirement: State of Alaska TRS.
Bargaining Unit: Fairbanks Education Association (FEA).
Salary: Determined by the FEA Negotiated Agreement.
Contract Length: Minimum of 184 days.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a State of Alaska Initial, Professional, or Master teaching certificate with a music endorsement.
• Working knowledge of the voice at the elementary school level.
