We are now accepting applications for the role of an elementary teacher that can instruct a classroom of students within a prestigious elementary school, located in Mountain Village, Alaska.
The ideal candidate that we are seeking will have a plethora of experience with instructing 1st grade to 5th grade students in subjects such as ELA, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Language and Reading.
Work responsibilities include:
- Developing daily lesson plans in accordance with State and District approved curriculum.
- Maintain order and a safe environment for learning through effective classroom-management.
- Instruct students in a variety of methods to ensure the effectiveness of material retention.
- Discuss student performance with parents, administrators, and the Special Education Department, whenever applicable.
- Other related classroom duties as assigned by administration.
Mandatory Licensures and Requirements:
- Active State of Alaska Educators License
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Education or an endorsement field
- Relevant experience teaching students in a classroom
