Residential Life Director – PGSS 2026
Residential Life Director (or co‑directors) for the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences (PGSS) summer enrichment program. The role is full‑time, hourly, and fixed‑term.
Program Dates- Arrival of Residence Life Staff:
Sunday, June 14, 2026 - Residence Life Staff Training:
Week of June 15 – 18, 2026 - Student Arrival & Opening Ceremony:
Sunday, June 21, 2026 - Student Departure:
Saturday, July 25, 2026 - Departure of TA/Counselor Staff:
Sunday, July 26, 2026
- Oversee 12‑15 TAs/Counselors, ages 18‑25.
- Live in the same dormitory as PGSS students.
- Ensure adherence to PGSS disciplinary rules.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead social activities.
- Foster a safe, collaborative living and learning environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Prior experience with PGSS or a similar summer program (preferred).
- Graduated from college or university by the start of the program.
- Relevant education and experience demonstrating comparable knowledge.
- Successful background check.
- Child Protection Clearances (Act 153).
