Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted reading interventions and instruction to students in need of additional support
• Conduct assessments to identify students' literacy strengths and areas for growth
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to develop and implement effective literacy instruction aligned with curriculum standards
• Design and implement individualized reading plans for students with diverse learning needs
• Monitor students' progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure continuous improvement
• Provide professional development and support to teachers on evidence-based literacy practices and instructional strategies
• Participate in data analysis and decision-making processes to drive school-wide literacy initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Education, Reading Specialist certification preferred
• Valid teaching license or certification in Reading or related field
• Experience working as a Reading Specialist or literacy coach in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of literacy development, assessment, and intervention strategies
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and learning
