PHL Pre K Teacher

Job Description

The PHL Pre-K Teacher Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in providing a high-quality, developmentally appropriate early learning environment for preschool-aged children. This role assists with classroom instruction, child supervision, daily routines, and maintaining compliance with PHLpreK, DHS, and Keystone STARS standards.

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities aligned with PHL Pre-K standards
• Support children's learning through small group and individual instruction
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions
• Support positive behavior management and social-emotional development
• Assist with observations, documentation, and assessment as required by PHL Pre-K
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
• Follow all licensing regulations, program policies, and procedures
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development

Must have a CDA or Degree in Education or Equivalent
